YHVH's love has been poured out to redeem Ephraim and to give to him a whole new nature through the New Covenant. This nature reflects the very character (fruit of the Spirit) of Elohim through Yeshua His Son.
"I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away from them. I will be like the dew to Israel; He will blossom like the lily, and he will take root like the cedars of Lebanon. His shoots will sprout, and his beauty will be like the olive tree" (Hos.14: 1-6). What a beautiful promise for these lost Israelites. YHVH has not forgotten them, but through the redemption and reconciliation in the New Covenant, YHVH has restored their identity and their rightful place in His kingdom. However, there are qualifying points that the apostles make mention of. "For do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of Elohim" (Corinthians 6:9)?
Because Ephraim is declared YHVH's firstborn and thus belongs to Him for His kingdom purposes (fixed order of government) YHVH was bound by His own righteousness, to do something about Israel's apostasy. In Psalm 49 verses 7-8 it says that "No man can by any means redeem his brother, Or give to Elohim a ransom for him-- 8 For the redemption of his soul is costly, and he should cease trying forever".
Why is it that man cannot redeem his brother? As seen in the examples of the temple sacrifices YHVH requires blood to atone for sin and to redeem that which belongs to Him. Man's blood has been tainted with the nature of sin, and thus does not qualify. However, YHVH must have a blood sacrifice that would meet His criteria. YHVH gives us a hint back in Genesis 3:15 as to how He was going to accomplish this. It was to be through the "seed of a woman" (ref Gen 3:15). Since the only righteousness that actually qualifies is His own, YHVH would have to father a Son. This Son would then have His Father's life coursing through His blood. The soul of this Son would have to exist in absolute obedience to the will of His Heavenly Father, in order to be the perfect "lamb" for the offering. YHVH's Spirit nature was in the blood of His Son, thus YHVH Elohim Himself was enacting redeemption, doing it through His Son. This Son was Yeshua the Messiah.
In case you are wondering why I am stating what may appear to you all too obvious, let me say the following: Today the enemies of the gospel, through the spirits of doubt and unbelief, are working overtime to make Yeshua out to be a mere human being, born of the Adamic life, and anointed to be a great teacher of Torah, or a type of messiah. We know from the books of the gospels that Yeshua was born out of wedlock and that is why Joseph wanted to put him and his mother away. This in itself would make Yeshua out to be a "mamzer" (illegitimate child; bastard) and a sinner par excellence. Thus He would be disqualified from being the channel of the Father's redemptive work. For such a person was not even allowed into the assembly of Israel. "No one of illegitimate birth shall enter the assembly of YHVH; none of his descendants, even to the tenth generation, shall enter the assembly of YHVH" (Deut 23:2). But because Yeshua's blood had the life of His Heavenly Father, YHVH Elohim could not deny Himself and reject His Son's atoning sacrifice for the sin of the world. This clarifies Paul's words when he says, "Elohim was in Messiah reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation" (2 Cor. 5:19). And since we too have received the life that was in Yeshua, through the indwelling Spirit of Holiness, we agree with John when he writes: "Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also" (1 John 2:23).
We must guard and watch out for any spirit of doubt and unbelief as to Yeshua's conception by the Spirit of YHVH in the womb of a virgin daughter of Zion.
